fuel pump blown again
What would cause the diaphragm to keep breaking on the fuel pump on my 2pg. I am getting really tired of replacing the diaphragms.

How many have broke, and in what period of time?

Re: fuel pump blown again
Sorry I haven't had time to think about the golf cart with winter setting in, my truck and plow became the priority, but my son is after me to get it running again. I replaced the diaphragm and it blew out again after about one month. I'm going to order another one and try it again.

Re: fuel pump blown again
Are you mounting it to the 1/2" thick black plastic insulator?
A new pump is just as cheap as a rebuild kit. Maybe your body has a flaw that ruins diaphragms. it might be worth a whole new pump. |
