Yeah we read the diagram on the Cunningham site. Couldn’t find a green that’s supposedly goes on the coil. On the diagram it a actually shows that ground to the chassis, but I don’t know if it’s correct. The strange thing is we took that black wire and it was pulled apart. Put a fuse in it and it did not blow it, but then turned the key to reverse it came on. Put in forward push the pedal and it engaged of course the engine didn’t turn over. Fixed the wire and right back to blowing fuses.

Hmm... Interesting for sure. Sounds like a short somewhere. Hopefully someone with experience with G1s and yamahas will chime in soon.

Yeah because I’m no electrical guy. I’ve gone as far as I can right now until I do some more homework.

I think Lukel has experience with G1s, you might try PM him. If not he will probably know someone who will. He is a regular on this forum
