For what it's worth....Here's the pin-out for the OTF controller. I'll have to probe it and see what it spits out.

Excellent - just hope modulating a 5v signal can produce a simulated rotation of the knob going in between OTF and controller. Hopefully so!

Actually having a brake position sensor input to the controller should allow more precise adjustment though, and it could be done in the "RXV" section of the FW, assuming (as they implied to me) that these parameters are "live" in the Club Car firmware(s).

Just a quick search...here are some almost plug & Play options...assuming 0-5k range would work.

Any of these could esily be connected to the brake pedal with a simple linkage.

I'm leaning toward the PB-6 unit as it already has multiple positions on the actuating lever that would allow for adjustment of the range relative to the brake pedal.

So if one of these could be substituted for the "knob" in the OTF unit, you would "pad" the no-brake position so that it equaled your base regen % of choice, then increased with brake pedal movement?

That’s my thought. Would be an easy implementation. Could just put a port at the new pot for the OTP to plug into and then a new cable from there to the controller. Would be totally non-invasive.

Sounds pretty painless. Do you plan to run this by Navitas or are you just thinking of putting it together and trying it out?

I'll definitely talk to the tech guy at Navitas for some information, but not necessarily doing it as an 'approved' mod. Once I understand what the controller wants to see I'll just go for it.

Any further progress on doing the regen modulation by using a position sensor and connecting between the OTF unit and controller?

Not yet. I had to back burner that for a bit. Some family health issues have been keeping me busy. It’s on my list and I’ll get to it soon.
