New Charger And Recepticale

I recently converted my 2005 EZGO TXT to a 48v from a 36v. I purchased the triangle receptacle and the recommended charger. After installing everything I can not get the batteries to charge its like the charger isn't recognizing the batteries. They are new batteries. Can anyone give me some insight on what I can do

FYI - 36 charges at a higher amperage rate than 48 volts. So you can always use the 36v receptacle for a 48v upgrade.
