86 Starter Bracket solution?
Hi all. I know this is an old topic...My starter bracket keeps breaking. It has been welded multiple times, and new ones aren't available as far as i am aware.
I was searching around on this forum and found this picture, which shows a completely separate tension bracket on the front of the starter, attached to the muffler bracket. Is this bracket available somewhere or did someone custom fab this? Thanks! |

Re: 86 Starter Bracket solution?
That's got to be home made off of some kind of older car, looks like it's been heated and twisted to fit. Good enough job too
