Default Lesters Summit 2 Charger

Is it a better charger than the stock Club Car PowerDrive charger? If so, what makes it better?

If the Summit 2 was originally setup for a EZGo, could i just change the cable to a Club Car cable to use on my cart? I know the OBC needs to be bypassed.

I have a 2011 Precedent with 2020 US 170ah Batteries. Would the 650W or 1050W charger be best?

If the Summit 2 isnt the BEST charger what is?

Get an Eagle Pro 4818i it has bluetooth, bulk, adsorption, finish, float
charge and will balance - equalize your batteries...can be field repaired.
the lesters are throw away if they fail.

You definitely do not throw the Summit II away if it fails. They are repairable through Lester just as the Delta-Q's are thru FSIP.

I like the Summit II as they are HF chargers at 92/93%, have specific profiles for all major battery manufacturers and are Bluetooth compatible with both on-board or off-board usage capabilities.

Unless your existing system is not working properly, there is no beneficial feature to be gained by purchasing a new charger.

I would be getting it for free, the only thing i would need to do if possible is to swap out the EZGo cable to a Club cable. Just didnt know if it does anything special for the batteries to prolong there life or any other reason to make it worth replacing the cable and bypassing the OBC.

What does HF charger @ 92/93% mean?

A pack would last longer and provide a better charge with a Summit II over a Powerdrive as you have a specific algorithm for you battery type. And it is interchangeable with other carts, along with on and off board capabilities. https://lesterelectrical.com/wp-cont...EET_090619.pdf

The Lester Summit 2 650w that came with my previous cart was a sealed
unit with no way open it up for servicing....so how would Lester open it up
to service it?

It is only sealed to meet the IP66 protocol. You and I cannot, but they can. Sent two (2) off with RMA's and they were repaired and returned.
