Hate to be the bearer of bad news but: As stated above the motor is not sealed.

You should expect to replace the motor, controller, MCOR, hope the transaxle is salvagable, and among other things every connection/wire is suspect.

I agree with Moon! I've rebuilt several flooded carts, and you wouldn't believe what can get in that motor! I've had a couple that had a double handful of sand in it. They are not sealed!

I found some of the pictures of one. The guy drove this cart a year after it was flooded before the motor finally died!

That's the way you have to buy one of these. Might as well figure you are buying a frame, body, seats, and roof. Perhaps a bit more than scrap.

Last flood cart I bought was a 2003ish DS for $50. It was trashed. Motor seized so hard it broke the rear end housing getting it off. I think I gave the gears to LukeL before I moved. I know I gave him the axles and a bunch of other stuff that I didn’t want to just “throw away” but didn’t want to take it with me either I really just wanted the roof and front cowl. Most of the rest of it was scrapped, sold a few little things to get my $50 back out of it

My 2017 CC Precedent was flooded by Hurricane Ita in Key Largo, FL.

Had to R&R the Motor, Wiring Harness, Controller and Solenoid. Found all the electrical components (except the motor) used at Potter Motor Company They get them from Club Car. Ask for Bryan Mills (229) 435-6153 ... good dude.

Good Luck!
