Precedent seat belts; please confirm my plan is not bad
2010 Precedent. I want a belt for the front seat passenger (a wiggly 3-year-old). I also want to be able to store the belts out of the way so that when the adults take the cart hunting, the belts will not get in the way of pistols and jackets and the like.
This is what I was planning on buying: SEAT-2006 If I understand correctly, I also need to buy the SEAT-2007 adapter since I have a Precedent. I was planning on avoiding something like SEAT-2003 because it looks like the "retractable" feature will really just be a pain in my azz. Thoughts? |

Yes, the retractable is what I have. I Don't remember what brand I have, but once clipped in the belt gets tight and doesn't have any give. So tight, I have a problem leaning over to grab anything from the front console.

The retractable ones have a huge housing that will get in the way of a lot of things and will probably try to stab you in the rear if you sit down wrong on the seat.
You do need the precedent adapters. They are easy to mount to the body, and then the main rail bolts to those. |

Those are Red Hawk part numbers, and I’m pretty sure David at Revolution Golf Cars carries some Red Hawk stuff. Great site sponsor and knows all the goods about Club Car. Give him a call and he should be able to get you what you need.

The retractable belts on my '10 are a pia
Always in the way of opening/closing both the front & rear seats. I'm going with the regular non-retractable belts... |
