48 volt 97 club car ds charging issue
So I installed 6 new Duracell 8 volt batteries. I have a dpi charger. Before replacing my batteries I would install my charger and it would start up at 15 amp and slowly reduce amperage until fully charged and automatically turned off. Now with new batteries it starts off at 20 amps and comes down to about 15 amps but no less and charger does not shut off. Checked batteries after about 6 hours of charging and pack reads 55volts so I assume it’s fully charged. Checked each battery individually and all read at 9 volts each. So is my charger actually charging batteries or not ? Don’t know the reading I should be getting in a fully charged pack of batteries. And also under load test it reads 48-50 volts

Re: 48 volt 97 club car ds charging issue
I would just plug it in and let it charge, a 48v pack can get over 60v while charging. Also a new pack could take 12 hours or more to fully charge.
