So I should be able to use the ubolts I currently have attached to the cart if I upgraded to 2 leaf springs? Also, I am still somewhat fuzzy on where to put the jack in order to lift the cart. Is the bar the red arrows are pointing to considered part of the frame? Can I put jack stands there?

Yes, the original U bolts are fine. Get a ratcheting box wrench to make it easier. If you don't have a battery powered impact driver, they're very handy. Jack size and jack stand sizes will influence your lifting methods. My Daytona jack works great but requires a large footprint, so I sometimes use the jack to lift at the suspension, and put the jackstand forward of the leaf spring. If the jack stand is too far forward, the cart will be unsafely balanced. Once you have it lifted (and chocked, of course) do ONE leaf spring at a time, and use your floor or bottle jack to adjust the load on that side of the suspension as needed. It's an easy job.

I could not find somewhere that sold a 2-leaf spring. I could find a single, 3, or 4. I would rather a 2-leaf if possible. I am usually carrying 4 to 5 people on the cart.
The leaf spring attachment is welded to that bar with the red arrow. Can I put a jack stand there? The jack stand is a basic 3 1/2 ton jack stand. Also, what is that pin I pointed to with the other red arrow? It is just hanging there.

I may have been mistaken...I can't find the double springs, just the dual action with three. If you have 4-5 people in the cart, the HD may be the way to go anyway. I'm not sure what that spring is, maybe to hold the brake cable? One of the egg-spurts will likely know right away.

I usually use the frame itself or the base of the leaf spring mounting plate. The battery box isn't that strong.

i save old single leaf sprigs that have been discarded and cut the ends off of them and use them to add a leaf, it raises the rear of the cart about 1 1/2" and rides nice, i did the 4 leaf springs on my lifted cart it rides like a truck. you need to make a new center pin which is just a 5/16" bolt about a 1/4" longer than the stock one, before you cut the used springs see which one is taller and use that on the drivers side, say bye bye to the 20 year lean

See that brake cable next to the pin in question? Pretty sure that's what used to hold the brake cable.

Ah, so that cable was probably moved when the cart was lifted then. Makes sense.

So use the jack on the area indicated by the bottom red arrow? So then no need to actually use a jack stand?

Do you mean a new center pin for the location marked by the top red arrow? Also, what would I use to cut the old spring?

ALWAYS use Jack Stands if any part of your body is going under the cart. I place mine on the cross member just in front of the lift springs.

Pretty sure cables should still go through the retainers with Lift Kit installed, otherwise they could hang low and get snagged on something.
