Default ez go battery diagram electric

Hello I am of course a newbie. I have an older golf cart I am not for sure of the year because the numbers can not be read. I know I can say this...It is a green ez go electric golf cart with 6 batteries that are all side by side in 2 rows of 3. I unhooked the batteries to install new ones and I do not know how to reinstall the batteries because I did not pay attention. It was also a long time between me taking them out and then buying some new batteries. Can someone help in sending me so diagrams of how to install batteries. Or can some one tell me where to search. I know it is not a lot to go on but I hope someone can help.

Hi and welcome.

This diagram might help some. Fig. 'D' sounds like your cart.
Thanks to the original poster....

Thank you fbm! "D" does look like what I have. I am going to go and try this today when I get home and I will let you know if it works.

Your welcome tia1971.

If you have a run/tow switch on your controller box beside the battery
tray,, make sure you put it in tow before you connect the batts to
complete the install. Would not hurt to have a volt meter to check that
you have 36 to 38 volts after you link the batts together.

Good luck...

He says he has an old cart with 2 groups of three that is a marathon grouping with the resistor coils in the middle, No?

But you could be right his "old" cart may be a TXT .... I doubt it, but.... It's GREEN !!!
We know that.

Maybe it just looks old......but green is odd. Wasn't green available in the late 90's?

I have a picture of it and it does look like diagram "D" The local (local is over a hour from me so he has not see it) cart guy says the positive has to point toward the front on the front row. The back row of batteries has to have the positive facing backwards. Which means it is sort of like "D". What I notice that may be the problem is the diagram "d" has the 12 volt cables connected to a different battery that I have mine connected to. I have attached some photos of the way I have connected the batteries and pictures of the golf cart. Sorry it is so dirty but it has been sitting up for a while and I can not drive it to be washed. :-)
