05 txt pds controller install
How do you install a dcx500pds controller on the plate? No holes match up and the black cover with the run/tow switch will not even fit over the controller

On my 97 DCX500 I installed the controller with two bolts in the center. For the environmental cover, I cut the bottom off of in and installed with two drill and tap screws in the top holes. They say the cover isn't really necessary because the DCX500 control is epoxy cast and water proof. I installed the cover just to keep all the electrical connections clean. This should be in your instruction manual, if not check out the manufactures web site.

Larger amp aftermarket controllers will not require the protective cover

You need to make an "L" shaped bracket for it and mount it on the controller plate. Where did you get the controller?
