Unfortunately the fuse is located on the other side of the direct short. Probably didn't even blow the fuse, lucky it is a small wire.

Oh yeah, now I see the picture is from the other angle. Very lucky it was small gauge or it would have welded itself to the contacts.

wow. thanks for everyone's advice. I learned a lot from here. BTW, can someone told me why is the fuse line connect to that particular battery and what is that for?

I would guess it's for some type of 12v accessory like radio, lights, cigarette lighter, fan etc. If you have one of those, turn it on then unlpug the fuse and see if that's it.

I think it is the light. There is headlight in the golf cart.

Anybody else notice he is missing the battery hold down? Batteries bouncing around is not a good thing... might have something to do with why that yellow wire got pulled so tight?
Or is the yellow wire the battery hold down system? |
