Is this a lifted cart?
Below is a pic of the front end of my cart. I have a couple of friends that have similar EZGo carts and they have lifts but I was told that my cart does not have a lift (from the previous owner). However, it has the same ride height as my friend's who has a 3" lift. Also, my tubing is round where his isn't. Any input?

Re: Is this a lifted cart?
I have not seen a lift like that one, but I would say you have a lift on it, if your tires are bigger then 20" then you have a lift, look at the rear, if your leaf spring are on top of your axle it is lifted.

Re: Is this a lifted cart?
A nonlifted cart on the ezgo has a straight front axle. Yes that is a lift, appears to be home made by some one.

Re: Is this a lifted cart?
Definitely lifted,Stock front axle is 1"x2" rectangle-tube and straight-across.Stock tires are 18x8.5x8".Nice lookin axle though.Look at it this way,if you bought it reasonable, you won.An axle-lift will run you over $200.

Re: Is this a lifted cart?
Don't get me wrong, I love the beast. I am curious though. It came with the stock 2 leaf rear springs (flipped on top of the rear axle) and I want to upgrade to the 4 leaf HD spring because when the cart is loaded, you can hear/feel it bottom out on the bump stops. Will I need new u-bolts?

Re: Is this a lifted cart?
Unless there is quite a bit of thread past the nuts on the u-bolts you will need new ones. They should be replaced after use anyway(they stretch when you tighten them-I work for a spring-shop).Either buy them with your new springs,a Site Sponsor or get them from a spring-shop,Tractor-Supply,or a trailer-parts dealer.Hope this helps.
