Default What lift do I have?

O.K. BGW'ers...a question regarding the lift on my cart. It obviously has a lift, and not just from the 22" tires. The floorboard is about 15" from the ground. Whatever it is will be adequate for my needs. Just curious. Hope the pics help. I will probably be putting a rear flip seat on this cart at some point. Being a 1994,should I replace the shocks first? Is there some way to tell if the shocks are shot? DO NOT want to spend anymore money than I have to. Any recommendations on particular shocks to buy, that won't break the bank? I know for a fact this cart was used hard, before I acquired it. Is there anything else I should know before considering a rear seat? I don't want to do anything, and then someone tell me, "Well, you shouldn't have done, blah, blah, blah...
Thanks in advance. Is there one rear flip seat that's better than another?...best bang for the buck?

It doesn't look like there is a lift. Looks like the rear leaf springs are sitting directly on the axle and there is no drop axle or spindle on the front. I am thinking you are getting whatever lift you have from the tires.

I'm not a lifted cart guy, but I don't see a lift at all. The picture in your signature verifies my observation as you have zero clearance on the 22" front tires.

Looks like a home mod job.
Original owner flipped rear under the springs and from the looks of the rust and poor weld relocated the front axle spring pad to the top.
Check your front shocks to see if they are not stretched to the max.
They might even be holding the front down some.
Doing the rear axle/spring swap will gain you about 4 1/2" to 5" lift while a front pad swap will only gain you 3".

Going back to your original question, I'm no electric cart guy but you might want to wait for Scottyb or someone who knows electric carts to tell you if the rear seat kit will work with your drive system. I've read that some older carts over heat and burn stuff up because of big tires and weight and/or going slow.

From the pictures she provided I would say it's a Series cart.

Then again, her signature says that too, LOL!

I've attached a couple more pics that might clear this up.
In response to ekgguy...the rear leaf springs do not appear to be sitting directly on the axle. Is this factory, or a modified version?
GORNOMAN...I think the additional pic shows that I do have clearance with the 22" tires...otherwise, how would I be able to drive and make turns?
Can anyone clear this up about the drive system handling a rear flip seat...DO NOT want to make a mistake.
Can anyone comment on "the shocks" questions?
Thanks in advance!
