test drive today, didn't go well
So I checked out a cart today and was not impressed with what I experienced.
Cart looked great on Craigslist but not so good in real life. Turns out it was a 94 model that had "New" batteries" but somehow they were covered with grime and dirt.... Anyway I drove it and it moved out......DOWN HILL! But I thought it was gonna die going up hill. It never stopped completely, but sure got slow. Owner claimed it had not been charged in a long time and would run better with full charge??? So is that true, will it run better up-hill after a full charge, or is it just a warn out 17 yr old cart with "New Batteries"? |

Re: test drive today, didn't go well
This is a cart I haven't looked at yet. Not one of the carts I listed the other day. I just found it while on craigslist today and went to take a look.
It is a 1994 EZ-GO |

what rib said, however it is hard to know your expectations as well. they are all going to slow down up hill....but "not stopping" going up hill is scary. Also...anyone who knows/cares about their batteries, they should not look like what you descibe. Long answer-short....call his bluff.....

Before you run them "way down" you might want to read this and anything else you can find on the subject.
