k&n filter
I got a k&n air filter for my G14 ,do i also need to jet the carburetor be fore i put it on?

i did the kn filter and carb jet on my club car and it didnt work out. i had to choke it every time i took off it was to much air flow for mine

Thats why I used Plowman's stuff, they know what needs to be done because when you change one thing sometimes that leads to something else and on and on.

i got the larger jet that tom sells at cart parts plus is there some place i can get one bigger than the one he sells

Get a set of jet drills from Harbor Freight. Or get a set of torch tip cleaners from like Sears, about 6 bucks. Go up one size at a time, till it runs good. It helps to read the plug after a wide open throttle sprint, then kill the ignition before you lift off the throttle. Get the shifter to neutral as soon as posible. Then coast to stop, pull the plug after a short cooldown. The white insulater should be a tan color. If its white, its lean, and needs to be bigger. Or go to a Yamaha bike shop, and ask them for a Makuni carb jet, larger than the one you have.

Wait Mike, you said club car. I don't know what carb they have on them. For finding a jet.
