Default Brake hub problems. There not only stripping

Friday evening the cart was loaded down with six people and went to go up a small hill and stripped a hub. Put another hub on it Saturday and attempted another ride with six people. This time the hub didn't strip but the drum cracked between the lug bolts and the thick part of the the spline and the wheel almost fell off. I think all the weight and three inch wheel spacers are putting too much stress on the hubs. Any suggestions/opinions on which are the strongest hubs available? Sorry I didn't get a pic before I broke it up taking it off.

We do have these HD hubs in stock for Gas Ezgo carts - You can have them delivered for the weekend
PS
Nobody has stripped one of these hubs out yet.

What kind of metal are they made from. I'm now more worried about cracking another and a wheel falling off with a cart full of people than the hub stripping out. Is there any guarantee?

I also found some hubs by Ausco. They say they are made out of hardened steel with a cast drum. Scottyb, would you happen to sell these or does anyone else have any input on this?

The Ausco hardened hubs and brake drum kit is what we carry.

Question Re: Brake hub problems. There not only stripping

So which ones are the better hub. The pinch hub or the Ausco hardened hub?
