01 TXT wont start

Had this cart running great about a month ago. It has sat about a month and now it wont start. I did shoot some starting fluid in and it fires on that, but as soon as its out, it just cranks. Any ideas? No fuel in the filter, but it wouldnt have it if its not pump, right?

No fuel in your filter means no fuel in your fuel line.

No fuel in your fuel line means no fuel running to your carb.

This is 99% of the time caused by ethanol gas sitting in your aluminum body carb over the winter, and creating a gunky residue that causes your float needle to stick in its seat, cutting off fuel flow into your carb.

No fuel in your filter is another strong indicator of this problem. The engine is sucking, trying to pull fuel through the straw of the fuel line by way of the carb... But that float needle is plugging the hole that the gas is supposed to come in through.
