Sepex motor and regen braking??
Another question for the brain trust?
On my 4x4 cart it has dual curtis controllers and dual sepex Advanced DC motors. It has selectable 4x4 on a rocker switch. If the cart is in 2 wheel drive will the front motor still be running the regen braking causing extra drag for the rear motor? The front end is already causing excessive drag because the tires turn the front differential when in motion. Just wondering if it is running regen as if it were rolling down hill or does the controller have to be powered up by the rocker switch being in 4x4? |

Re: Sepex motor and regen braking??
The front wheel controller has to be powered-up for front wheel regen braking to occur.
