Default 2001 E-Z-GO Electric TXT suddenly it dies

I have a 2001 E-Z-GO Electric TXT Standard 36V and it goes up to full speed and runs good and then all of a sudden it dies and the reverse beeper beeps at fast intervals and its dynamic braking slows it way down, then its power comes back on and it speeds right back up again. It will do the something over and over. It seems like it dose this after running for a bit

Sounds like you have a 2001 TXT PDS with a loose/intermittent connection on one of a dozen or so wires.

You will get the same reaction if you shift to the F/R to Neutral, or turn key off, while cart is being driven.

With the possible exception of the wires connected to J-3 (Run/Tow switch), a momentary loss of voltage on any of the wires/connections highlighted in red on attached schematic, will cause the controller to apply maximum regen braking and sound the beep rapidly.

Yup - I had one doing that recently - was the green wire plug in splice in front of the control... Unplug it, clean it up and replug. Hope you get lucky.... and the cart works.
