Default Need to make RXV faster

Hello BGW. I am working on a 2011 RXV and want to know more options on making it run way faster. What are everyone's experiences with this cart and upgrades. Cart is stock height with 14" wheels and lo pro tires. ,

How fast is yours? When I bought mine the guy had the top speed all the way up and the acceleration at stock and it will run 27mph. Stock motor and controller. It's a 2011 rxv. 6 inch spindle lift with 23 inch tires

High speed gears all have a negative effect on hills, and most importantly braking performance. Whats the terrain where you are?

22.5 mph is it with lo pro tires on it. I'm in Florida so it is mainly flat but there are some hills in this subdivision.

I hate to say it, i cant see much other than gears for you. Mpollard1990s larger tires are responsible for his speed.

OK that is what I was thinking also. I wonder how much gears are worth as far as spped goes.

That makes me hopefully that I can bump my 20 mph up some when I put my lift and 22"s on here when the lift comes in. The speed limit is 25 in my division and I hate having to make people go any slower than that if I don't have too. I'd be happy with 25

Do not mix speed gears AND large offroad tires. Totally unsafe brake performance. You will be munching through motor brakes too, from jamming the brake pedal to the floor just to get it to stop.
