Trouble shooting dcs bypass tow switch
Need some help. I think Im working on a buddy's dcs ezgo. The selection switch is on the body and it has a run maitance switch on the black box. Not sure of year. Trying to get it running and I don't have power to the red wire on the 10 plug harness going to contorller. The tow maintance switch is all corroded and messed up.
To bypass the tow switch it looks like I can Ty all 4 wires toghather but I just want to be sure. I've got battery's up to 31 volts. It's been sitting for a while. |

Call the fire department.
OK, first we need to narrow down the year as there ARE differences. Is there a data plate in the passenger storage area? |

[QUOTE=gornoman;1174800]Do NOT DO THIS![/QUOTE
It looks like in the diagram the switch just connects all the wires. Maybe I'm wrong. |

Quote:
= cant read schematic symbols. Those are 2 seperate circuits, but the switch "lever" does the same thing to both seperate circuits (connects circuit 1 "in" & "out" connections, also seperately connects circuit 2 "in" & "out" connections, when "lever" is moved). |

Re: Trouble shooting dcs bypass tow switch
Ok thanks. I'm going to just loop the two circuits together in the morning and see what happens. I'll post back.

Re: Trouble shooting dcs bypass tow switch
If you're expecting the cart to move when you hot wire the R/T switch with 31v max you may be disappointed. As soon as a load is applied to these old batteries they will probably fall (drop out) too far to move it. Put it on blocks if you are to have a chance to see the wheels move.
