Default Total Charge III Doesn't Shut Off

I had my cart on the charger for about 48 hours, the charger did not shut off and the amp meter was at about 2-3 amps for 36 of those hours. I checked the pack at the battery terminals, it was 46v and each battery was about 7.6v-7.7v. I took the cover off the charger and checked the red and black wires at the control board and got 46.1v. So my question is, do I need a new control board or are my batteries not coming up to a full charge anymore?

Well the finish/equalize portion of the charge can safely go as high as 48.6 so as long as your batteries are not outgassing heavily or getting overly warm to the touch you are not harming them any further by allowing them to continue charging. But I would be curious as to why it is still charging after 48 hours, you may be right to suspect the batteries.

With those voltage readings, the batteries are not coming up. You can try and nurse them along if your not having a distance issue

After 24 hrs. off the charger the pack was at 39.1v and each battery was 6.5v, I used it today around the yard for awhile and the pack was around 38.5v when I put it away and back on the charger. I'll see what happens tomorrow.

Another 24 hrs. on charge and it didn't shut off so I went ahead and ordered a new control board.

I replaced the control board and the charger is working as it should again. I just happened to be by the cart when the charger shut off and the volt meter was at 45.8 before it stopped.
