Default 36-48v conversion txt #DONE

Hey guys just finished my 36-48v conversion on my 02' txt series cart.

Installed Trojan T875's with all 2awg cables. Needless to say the cart runs much better. Has a 500amp alltrax controller and D&D motor.

With this said I needed a new charger. I got a great deal on a Delta Q sc48, my question is as follows. I'm tying to leave the factory receptacle on the cart and switch only the plug on the charger from my old powerwise ( 3 wire)
The Delta Q has three wires also for the charge lead, see picture I'm assuming white is positive, black is negative and green goes in the center for communication wire correct?

Unfortunately your current charge port on the cart is not set up for a temperature sensor which is what is required for that third wire on your charger. If you want to use that charger, I'm pretty sure you have to change over to the new "triangle" 48v plug used on current TXTs that include a temp sensor. I hope the cost of the charger + the charge port for 48v txt is less than the cost of a Dpi charger, or it was no deal. Also, that Delta-Q charger supports "mode changes" for different battery brand/sizes, but can only be changed by programming equipment not available to the public (or golf cart dealers), unlike the easy-to-change Dpi charger.
Maybe not such a deal after all.

I have a TXT48 charger and receptacle taken from my cart when I went "on board". Will sell as a pair.

Thanks for the advice, as for the cost of the charger it's from a friend and I haven't connected it or paid for it before doing some research, leaving my options open for something that will work.

What are you guys recommending as a good charger for my application ?

Cool Re: 36-48v conversion txt #DONE

The delta q sc48 charger works and charged just fine. I was a little hesitant based on some of the Info I received on here regarding this particular charger. But after not getting many answers on my other post yesterday I went ahead and gave it a shot.

So for the record I took a delta q sc48 charger that I paid 50$ for and installed my existing ezgo D shape paddle for stock receptacle and all good ! Charged properly, turned off and I was happy. Still may consider getting a dpi charger at some point.

Next up is the reversing contactor from Scotty picked it up yesterday
