Default next build

looking to build another cart. i have found 2002 villager 6 ds with a metal front seat box, but it seem to close to the steering wheel. not sure i want to lift this one but want to have 12"or 14" wheels and a speed motor or magnet to bust the speed. does anyone know if the box can be moved back a little? i also found a 97 DS with all the goodies except wheels for a little more money. in the end i think i will have close to the same in each of them. any thoughts or pros and cons on the villager? i have had both a regular DS and and Precedent.
