Default voltage reducer

I installed my voltage reducer as per the instructions and all is working great with it hooked up to the battery pack.
I have a radio and a lot of underbody led lights and again all is working great.
I plan on a lot of christmas lights for the holiday to be put on my cart.

I was just thinking since my cart has an OBC should I hook the negative wire from the reducer to the B- on the controller so the OBC picks up the extra voltage loss? Or does it mater that much.

On another note, HAPPY THANKSGIVING from my family to yours.

Yes it matters if you want to get the most life out of your batteries. In your case you are pulling quite a bit of energy from the batteries (radio, lights, xmas lights etc) and the OBC needs to know that so that it can get the charger to run enough to put all that energy back into the batteries.

If you have a Precedent it will have a black wire with a yellow bullet connector near battery 6. This wire comes from B- and it is there specifically to make it easier to connect to B- for this purpose.
