Re: 36v motor to a 48v cart?
Your ScottyB components should be all ready for 48 v. You’d have to confirm with him though.
You’ll need a new charger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: 36v motor to a 48v cart?
Ran it 18 holes
It did well, noticeable torque improvement on the hills Getting to & from home/clubhouse noticeable faster is nice too A great improvement May need a New thread for the 85 DS upgrade, Be making a list top, upolstery, bumpers, tires /wheels ... Convince the banker she needs a cart too :) Is this how the “addiction “ starts ? |

We support this upgrade from the start. All of the Alltrax controllers I send out are pre-set for 36-48 volt operation. All of the 400 solenoids will run on 36-48 volts. |

We don’t have to replace the pre charge resistors?

On the Alltrax XCT controllers the precharge is done internally and needs no modification. For all others the rule above applies |

Re: 36v motor to a 48v cart?
I didn't mean to hijack Golferdave's thread. When these batteries go out and I make the move to 48V, ScottyB is first on my list to contact before anything is hooked up just to make sure all is ready. Plus I'll have to buy that new charger anyway.

Re: 36v motor to a 48v cart?
Took me a while to find one.
Got lucky, guy wanted the cart gone . Not much on it is good, It sat in sun for years in So Cal desert, all plastic & rubber is toast. Some front end damage. |
