Jerky and no go at times
Got a situation where I have an AXE Alltrax 400 amp controller, MZJ-200D contactor and a Plumquick series motor. The overall cart seems slower than it should be then the at times it's dead then bolts to live jerking the hole cart, does this on hills sometimes too. So you could be cursing, seems slow, dead spots and dies then comes to life violently. Just pulled in so haven't got my hands on it just yet, but makes me think the way it's acting that the solenoid is dropping out. Thoughts?

Re: Jerky and no go at times
You could be right but I would confirm you don't have a bad cable or loose connection first.

I would agree with doug, check all of your connections, you may have one loose.

Re: Jerky and no go at times
Found nothing wrong.... all wires completely solid no solenoid issue, adjust some settings on the Alltrax and the problem seems to have gone away. The only thing I can associate this is with the braking feature setting on the Alltrax.
I had both a DCX and now an AXE that with the breaking feature set at zero the controller would cut out at times, in both instances I moved the slider to about 40% and the problems went away. |
