Battery Light on 97 48V
I may have posted this in the wrong Forum yesterday.
Just bought a 97 48V CC to add lift kit etc. Put new Batteries in and notice the Battery Light on the Dash is on whenever the Key is off. Is this normal or does the wiring or something else need attention? Thanks much |

Re: Battery Light on 97 48V
Was this happening before batterys were replaced? If not have you charged battery pack up until charger shuts off on its own? The light usually means low battery condition on that old a CC. I would double check battery wiring for proper hook up and confirm that pack ground is running through hole in OBC ( On Board Computer ). Going by battery break in will give you long life and full power range.
See STICKIES listed under "BATTERY GUIDE" for proper break in procedure See STICKIES listed under "State Of Charge Readings" for correct test results See STICKIES listed under "Golf Cart Battery Maintenace" See STICKIES listed under "Electric Club Car Wiring Diagrams" to confirm correct wiring Let forum know if any of above does not solve problem as its possible you have the old OBC that gave lots of problems? What color is battery light on dash? |

Trying to remember what original battery light color was for 1995-1997? Darn terrible to get old?

Re: Battery Light on 97 48V
I replied to your other post then saw this one. I had a 97 CC that had a red dash light that started staying on all the time and eventually would not charge the batteries. I ended up replacing the on board computer and the light stayed off and the cart started charging again. Hope this helps.
