Lift Kit Install
I'm (basically) finished installing the A Arm lift kit & HD rear springs. I put one of the shock plates on wrong - it's going perpendicular to the body instead of parallel and is too close to my D&D motor for comfort. Other than that, I'll go back through and tighten everything up, align the front end and test drive tomorrow evening. I'll put the flip seat on Saturday and haul it down to the Christmas parade on Sunday! I'll take some pics of the rear lift and post tomorrow, as well as some after the flips seat is installed. Cheers!

Re: Lift Kit Install
Looks great, I just put a 6" super sport lift under my 2003 cc ds. I didn't put the hd springs in the back, I was afraid it would make the cart to stiff. Let me know how yours ride, cause my cart doesn't set level. My cart sets a little lower in the back with the stock springs. I might go with the hd springs to raise the back up a little higher.

Re: Lift Kit Install
I have the hd springs in the rear on my 7.5 super sport, definately a rough ride. I have been debating about putting stock springs back in the rear and building taller blocks for the rear. Also taking a spring out of the front pack and building a little bit longer linkage. Hopefully that will help out the ride some.

Re: Lift Kit Install
I wish I had done more pictures, but I didn't take the time. I post some pictures on a different thread of my cart before I lifted it. ( lifting my Pathway ). Thanks for the info., Greg

Re: Lift Kit Install
gcs If all your wanting to do is level it out I would build a bigger block. I would sell but im sure eventually I will be talked into putting a back seat on(not by my choice) and I would like to keep them just incase.

Re: Lift Kit Install
Hey MikeJ your lift looks good, I had posted in another thread if anybody had used one of these types of kits and what they thought. So what do you think after installing, pretty simple install, good quality parts, good quality materials, hows the ride, that kind of stuff. I am not looking to bash any company just looking for some first hand info, good or bad so when I save up enough nickles and dimes I don't end up with something that is not as good as something else for about the same money. Also who did you get this kit through, thanks.

Re: Lift Kit Install
I used a 7.5 allsports super sport lift for a while and loved it. upgraded for a long travel
Is the only reason I took it off. It is a good medium for the price. |
