Charger won't kick on
I have a 2007 Club Car Precedent. When plugged in the charger "clicks" but the voltometer doesn't move and the cart does not charge. I have charged the cart on my fathers charger without problem so I know it is my charger. Charger is a Club Car Power Driver 2. Any thoughts on what needs to be replaced in the charger? Is it the relay?
Thanks |

Re: Charger won't kick on
If you take it to your local dealer most of them will test the charger for free. The dealer around me will test it and replace the part with no labor charge.

4 batteries 48V. I plugged another cart into it that just had new trojan batteries put in it two days ago and my charger again "clicked" and wouldn't charge. I am am sure it is the charger.

Re: Charger won't kick on
It could be a number of things...... Most likely scenario is a bad relay. They sometimes click, but don't actually work. It may also be a bad circuit breaker. Make sure the button isn't tripped. Let me know if you need my help.. I'll walk you through the whole process.
