Re: New SPM Alltrax Controller
Yes lots of people have used them... like any new product there have been some bugs but I think the Ezgo ITS bug is dead now.

Re: New SPM Alltrax Controller
I recently bought a 97 Melex 512e and upgraded to 48v batteries. When i took it in to get the "guts" looked at, they said the controller was shot. I didn't know much at the time, so let them talk me into an Alltrax SPM. I have the 48200. It seems great, but 200 amps is WAY too low for me. I like that it's programmable. i don't know what I'm doing, but one day, I am sure I will appreciate it.
I do around 23mph on flat. I'd like to bump up to 30ish. I'm thinking the only way is to eat it on the controller and get another, or go to 6:1 gears. Could I get some thoughts? Thanks, JT |

Re: New SPM Alltrax Controller
200 The good news is the SPM has a higher output than an AXE so the 200 puts out like a 300 but ....... 300 all my clients use 4 and 500. That what it takes to run an aftermarket motor, tall tires, and gears.

Re: New SPM Alltrax Controller
I got the SPM48500 and I love it. Besides frying it from doing something stupid < my fault. It's a great controller and I had no issues with it besides having it sense my over throttle.
I give the SPM one big |

What I mean is, I want to be able to pull reference info out of the program and put it on my desktop ie: voltage, amps, warnings. They said they will put the program out for twiddling after they release there next new big thing. So I have to wait |
