Re: 06 Txt--dead after new battery install?
I prefer to test the wires in and out of the MS.
Verify you have power (36v+) in to it, that's the green wire coming from the key switch. And then check to see if you have power coming out of it on the red wire going to the Solenoid.... This beats heck out pulling the rocker panel and floor mat... but if it fails this test you know what you have to do.... and get a peddle box MS for Ezgo TXT, not just any MS. |

Re: 06 Txt--dead after new battery install?
now im really confused, the green and blue wires from the ignition are running to the f&r switch, there is a gray wire coming out of the pedal box on the bottom, that makes its way to the controller and has a pin conector.
Sorry in advance , and thank you also. |

Re: 06 Txt--dead after new battery install?
Ok, did I do this right?
In side the gray insulated wire coming out and to the controller I tested the green wire via the pin connector, got nothing. I had my multimeter neg prob on neg pack post and pos prob on the green wire inside pin ? Thanks |

Yes, it sounds like you need to lift the floor mat and reach the peddle MS for further testing.

Re: 06 Txt--dead after new battery install?
Made it to the pedal box.
Neg prob on neg pack post and + on green wire/connector--nothing again. Should the MS contact move in or out when the pedal is pressed? I still have the charger receptacle jumper in use, is that ok? It's not working though. Thanks |

Re: 06 Txt--dead after new battery install?
Quote:
The wire that should be connected to the main positive terminal is the red wire that goes into the wiring harness. The next place that wire goes to is the "C" terminal on MS-2 which is physically located on the F/R assembly. Do you, or do you not, have battery pack voltage on the "C" terminal of MS-2. If not, you will not have any voltage further downstream. ---------------- Yes, a set of contacts inside MS-3 (Throttle box microswitch) are supposed to close when pedal is pushed. However, the voltage first has to go through MS-2, then go through the Keyswitch contacts to get to that set of contacts. |

Re: 06 Txt--dead after new battery install?
Nothing at ms2.
Ran the red wire from the charging recetable straight to main + terminal, and tried the original factory setup. Also MS3 the contact point is not touching the" pedal rod", seems like a spring is not there is the best way I can describe it. Thanks |
