charging info
2009 EZ Go RVX 48v.
Just bought this cart 2 weeks ago and had planned on leaving on the charger all the time since we typically only use it on weekends; plus thinking it's best to keep batteries fully charged. Dealer told me once you plug in, it reaches full charge and cuts off that it will not keep recharging. Said will have to unplug from cart and plug back in to "restart" charging. Is this correct? If so, is there a way to keep charged up? We may go 2-3 weeks with no use in the Winter months. just trying to keep batteries at full charge, thinking it's the best thing to do. |

Re: charging info
Not with the stock charger. You will need one like this > http://cartsunlimited.net/48v_Battery_Charger.html
The charger shown is a DPI 5 stage charger and battery maintainer. When it finishes charging it automatically goes into maintenance mode, so if you leave the cart for a week or 4 months the batteries will be fully charged and ready to run. |
