The only "setting" per se on a BV24 is the float level, which ought to be preset from the factory I believe. There is a low speed screw, but it is kind of worthless since these engines don't idle.

The carb was delivered yesterday and I installed it last night. Seems to work pretty good, only problem I have is taking off at a stop, seems to bog down. I'll have to mess with the throttle cable to rectify this.
Well worth the money. I can't believe the other carb even worked, it was shot.

I'm sure that increasing the main and pilot jet sizes by 1 will help in our Northern climates and ethanol-laden fuels. Adding compression typically improves low end snap as well.
