Starter Generator Issues
Replaced my starter generator a few months ago and it's already giving me issues. I think this time it's just the brushes but why is it happening so fast. 2007 gas club car. I have a radio and some under carriage LED lights. Other than that it's stock.

Re: Starter Generator Issues
if you didn't use the factory one you will have problems, I have 2 club cars and even after new brushes on the aftermarket ones they don't work right,

Re: Starter Generator Issues
where and how to find an original starter? what should it cost/approximately...?
new v/r... new battery.. new starter/gen... went for first ride, 1/2 mile ... starter/gen now has a bad commutator .... put on new starter/gen again... burnt out the commutator again. started good for one time. didn't think the starter would burn out so fast. very expensive mistake. yes twice. and yes the polarity was correct, or it wouldn't have started. so, I don't advise that it is so hard to burn out a starter/generator. still checking this one out...
