1989 GX444 Oil Pump Gas Mixture
I have just been given an EZ Go GX444 1989 Marathon Golf Cart. I was told it is a 2 cycle that needs to have oil mixed with the gas. I am not sure since some threads say these have a oil pump that mixes for you and I am not sure. Does anyone know if I have to pre-mix the gas and if so at what ratio? If it helps the spark is on the top of the engine. Attached is an image of the engine.
Thanks Matt |

Re: 1989 GX444 Oil Pump Gas Mixture
Welcome to BGW Someone at some point may have got rid of the oil injection WE all do !!!! so to be sure at this point just mix the fuel at 1 oz. of oil per gallon and you'll be ok this is 128:1 mix. Look at the front of the fan cover for a pump and then look for a oil tank. If ether is removed or plugged then mix!!!
