Default Are the cheap E-Bay carbs any good?

Carb prices are all over the place starting as low as under $25 on E-Bay. Most of them appear to be from China. Anyone had any experince with them, are they any good?
Thanks

I bought one for an 88 from china.
Works good after two minor adjustments.
The float level was off and the mixture set wrong.
Float could have been caused from shipping.
Also has rough castings inside where the bowl is but they did not cause a problem.

I've had a $25 Chinese one on our 86 Marathon for 3 months with nothing more than a few minor adjustments.
Did buy a second one just to keep in the race trailer as a spare.

I have one of those cheap ebay carbs on mine, did not a thing to it and just plowed a couple miles of sidewalk with 5" of snow. It was a little hard to start, but then it was around 28 degrees out. Once it started up the first couple of times, it was just fine, took the choke off and ran like a champ. I have not checked or adj'd a thing, just bolted it on and go!

Not to change the subject but how hard was it to install the plow. It would sure save my back.

Not tough at all. And I understand about your back! I used to use a snow blower, and did the whole block, killed my bad back. so put the word out for a plow and riding mower, and that worked for a while but had issues, so,.... I got the cart. I will take a bunch of pics tomorrow and start a new thread, and will post a link in here, so we are not hijacking this thread, (well not too much anyway!)
