Old battery did the same thing. I have replaced both battery cables and one other ground cable I put directly to the engine to make sure it is grounded. That is how it came with a cable from battery negative to the chassis and the other main cable runs to the starter generator

How many times has the battery been drawn down below 12volts? Do you have a good clean ground from battery to frame and battery to engine? Believe it or not corrosion can and will effect the battery. I know I'm probably repeating but I've seen it over and over again... Depending on the battery once it's been to less than 10 v. It may be ruined keep doing draw test as Mike Mac said you will find it eventually.

You may have had battery and or solenoid.should be able to get the battery load tested where you bought it.

Very weird. I let this cart sit for two days. First day battery went from 12.16 to 11.98 yesterday through last night it went from 11.98 to 2.56. I plugged the charger in for 5 mins and took it off. It is holding steady at 12.20. something is up with this new battery.

I have been watching it again the past two days. It has dropped from 12.55 to 12.16 in 2 full days. Also I noticed with everything turned off that I have .040 coming out to the starter/ generator from the solenoid. Should it be bleeding out low voltage like that with cart off???

I cannot say if that is"normal" for a golf cart or not.it is a draw on the battery and I would disconnect one at a time and see which is the one.another thought I had was have you ever had the starter/generator apart and cleaned communicator and body from carbon fouling? Also great time to replace the brushes if need be
