Default 1996 Carryall Throttle/Brake Problem Post Lift

Evening BGW! Purchased a Jakes 6" Spindle lift for my '96 Carryall 1 and installed this past weekend. Did the whole thing with hand tools and was a PITA!

To get the back buttoned up, had to drop the whole motor/axle unit quite a bit down (to the extent a ground from the alternator snapped). Got that fixed and the back buttoned up today, but went to crank the cart and it started at 1/2 throttle if not more. Brakes are also very loose. Didn't touch anything on the throttle and brake lines other than the little brake wire holder which was reinstalled. I'm 100% stumped and hoping for some guidance before I break down and have a shop look at it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Bryant

So this is way beyond my expertise...

But inside the electrical box right beside air breather.. Their is a half moon lever that hits the switch, I think that switch is what starts the cart when you push the pedal.... That moon has notches, I think that's where you can adjust the throttle.

Also read the speed up your cart sticky... It talks about lengthening the gas pedal rod, and brake pedal..

That may be what you need more to adjust your cart...... Again not my expertise! Just a couple ideas to Tinker around with until expert comments.....

Good luck

For anyone else that might run into this, I was able to adjust the tension back to stock thresholds.
