Default G22 performance exhaust?

Muffler broke off. Need a replacement. $300 for a mufffler???? Looks like a stock is same price range as a performance exhaust. How loud is the performance exhaust? I just for kids and deer hunting etc and do not want a loud cart.

Plowmans had some mufflers, don't know how different they sound. Otherwise find someone with a welder to fix it is likely cheapest way. I doubt you would get much performance gain, maybe a little but the cart motors don't give much. Plowmans has the best kits you can get more speed and power but for a big change you need to swap the motor out. Or you might find a used one from someone that did a swap.

Plowmans performance exhaust isn't much louder than stock, and has a more throaty sound. By itself it's kinda expensive, but combine it with everything in the Hot Setup and it's a lot of bang for the buck.

If you want to stay stock motor plowmans is the best period, you get what you pay for and many people here will agree that his stuff works great. But I'll also say that my clone is a ton of fun, and yes it was a lot of work messing with it to get things right. Stock motor you bolt stuff on and off you go, I likely have weeks into mine though I put it in before any kits were available and fabricated all kinds of stuff. I spent more on this one, the first stock clone I put in had about 450 total into it but still took a while to do. But that was great price for a new motor with roughly twice the power.
