Default g16 yamaha issues when engine gets hot

Hello I have a 1996 g16 runs for 20 minutes or so then once it gets hot it will lose power, and by that I mean it will studder with pedal all the way down and hardly move this will come and go. If it sits for a while it will be ok but then the cycle starts again. I put spark tester on and ran it and once it started studdering i checked for spark and there was none so I put a new coil on and it still does it.

I have since:

Removed and cleaned choke

Replaced all fuel hoses

Replaced plug

Replaced fuel filter

Checked all wiring

Checked coil

Siphoned all gas from the tank and cleaned it.

Still having start stop issues

ANY THING ELSE THAT COULD BE CONTRIBUTING TO THIS ISSUE.

Thanks

Did you put an aftermarket coil on it? Those can be bad right out of the box.

If you put aftermarket, buy an OEM one and that will fix your problem

Around me shady places buy the aftermarket part but sell it for close to OEM price

I thought G16 had a magneto coil and no ignitor? Sure sounds like ignition failure, maybe head gasket or something odd like that. Also get the shrouding off and make sure the cooling fins are not filled with dirt and such.

Not for a G16 and newer (excluding FI). The whole ignition system is in the "coil" powered by the flywheel magnet. It always Sparks Everytime the flywheel passes by it. When working correctly, it will make spark no matter what, unless the blue and black wires are connected (to kill spark). It has no "ignition box" to set timing.
