Posted 6 pics in the albums, haven't figured out how to post them in this thread. Someone fill me in as to how to attach pics please. Took the cart for the first test ride today. No silencer yet, exhaust just tacked together, temporary gas tank, no air cleaner installed, but still managed to get 34mph (took the hand held GPS with to measure speed). What a rush, can't wait to rejet the carb so I can get into the real power and top end. Will keep you posted as the project progresses. Thanks again to all in this forum!

Looks like your shifter is on upside down, hard to tell from the pic but it could be the source of the forward/reverse problem. might even be your shifting cables got swapped, if the top side of your clutches and belt move toward the front of the cart then it's going in the correct direction. You belt looks as thou it may be a little short, this could limit you on top end. It's kinda hard to tell because it's riding pretty high on the driven clutch, It should have good low end power that way.
