Default 99 ez go no power need help please

this is what i have done
28 degree clutch
cleaned carb
loosened muffler
checked plugs
new gass
it runs fine until its under a load or until the clutch is all the way engaged its like it has no lowend power the motor just dies off *** quickly as the clutch engages

try a shorter belt for torque, but if the engine dies, it just might be tired

check your fuel pump and crank case line to your fuel pump for oil. Sometimes oil gets in the crankcase line and it wont pump enough gas into the carb.

Check compression. rings might need replacement... It is a 10 year old engine, and depending on the hours on it and the type of use, the rings might be worn...

make sure the counter weights in the drive clutch are not worn and check the driven clutch for worn cam lobes or a broken spring
