Or....you could have spent $10,000 for a cart and be having the same issue.

Understand completely! Theres a fuel filter inside the tank, probably rotten by now. I just tore it off and used a regular one inline with the fuel hose.

Stock ignitor is $300-400. The $150 ones are Nivel aftermarket. Complete junk. I went through 4 of them...

If you need an OEM carb I have a spare, fresh out of the ultrasonic cleaner. The plastic piece on top is broken but can be swapped with the one on your aftermarket one in a few minutes. Otherwise should be perfectly fine

Yeah removed the lower cap filter and using an inline at the moment. Actual gas tank is on my back porch so doesnt matter lol. Nice shiny red gas can in its place for now until I get it running for more than two minutes at a time. I see doing an ignitor upgrade is the only option in my mind as far as that part. Carb is oem. Grew up racing yamaha. NEVER use anything but factory oem carb. This thing runs awesome and revs up great. Smooth running. Just for a minute or two though. Should be a great cart once this is solved

Sounds exactly like mine did. Chrysler ignition did the trick for me.

Let us know what you find!
