I was told that most likely it was due to the engine being tilted up too much from the lift i put on it causing the float to stick open on the carb. So to fix it we made a bracket that bolted under the frame and around the snubber to tilt the motor back down keep the float in the carb from sticking and leaking gas by. We also drained a d changed the oil. I noticed today the there was a small amount of gas/oil dripping from under the motor. I checked the oil and it has gas in it again. Any ideas on what is causing this?
I've bought a used 94 CC DS that recently had gas in the oil. Recently as in I just finished getting it running again after it sat for about a year not used.

I took off the carb and it had junk in it. Some of the ports were plugged. Took it apart and cleaned everything. Used a sewing needle and small paper clip in some cases to dislodge the gunk. Cleaned it all up and reinstalled.

While I was working on carb I let all the oil gas mixture drain out.

I ordered some parts and did the following before restarting.
1. Cleaned carb
2. Replaced fuel pump
3. Replaced all fuel lines. Took about 5 feet of a 6 foot kit
4. Replaced all 1/4 inch line clamps with screw type not worm gear type or spring type (Love em!)
5. Replaced 2 fuel filters. 1 before fuel pump 1 before carb
6. Cleaned air box and replaced air filter
7. Replaced spark plug
8. Replaced oil filter
9. Replaced oil plug with new washer
10. Drained gas tank and cleaned out best I could without removing the tank.
11. Added a fuel on/off valve after the gas tank and before the 1st fuel filter. (Now I can turn off the fuel and run it dry if I want.)
12. Refilled with synthetic 10w30 oil
13. Put about 1 gallon of premium non-ethanol gas in it.
14. Pulled off air hose on carb and did a shot of starter fluid. Put on hose
15. Pressed the gas pedal and it fired right up and then stopped. Did this 3 times
16. Took some of the old fuel line and another clamp and extended the carb overflow line a little below the skid plate and zipped tied it. If I have to drain the carb bowl it now goes to ground not cart

Once the fuel pump had primed the hoses, filters, and carb bowl with gas it fired right up without assistance. It was about 40 degrees outside so not bad.

It runs like a top now and I'm ready to continue with my lift kit. Still in the planning phase.....

I think my problem was junk in the gas tank, old gas, clogged carb, etc. Fuel delivery problem that caused the carb to stick open and flood the crank case with gas. That and possibly a bad/dirty fuel pump allowed gas to flow back into the case. Either way, the problem is now gone. Hope this helps.
