Many of are hot rodding up our clones to 25+ hp and 5000 + rpms with the shrouding that comes on them without any cooling issues. In fact with the muffler out behind the engine cradle under the seat is a lot cooler than with the stocker. Along with the way the stock yamaha engine is shrouded it would always have debris trapped in the cooling fins under the shrouds BUT I have seen that issue on the clone.
