Default No Reverse Switch Help

I noticed over the weekend that my cart is starting not run if I put into reverse, but ti will run fine in forward. After troubleshooting this appears to be a switch issues, any ideas on how to repair this?

pop the switch out of the metal plate and switch the wires if your cart go into forward and not reverse then it is the switch, just a suggestion, to rule out the switch

I will take a look at that...what is weird is that when you first press the pedal it acts like the battery is weak. What I mean by that is you hear the click sound and you can see the motor wanting to put but doesn't. Then you can press the pedal again and it spins normal and fires right up.

I will take a look at that. I did rubberize the underbody after I sprayed it with a rust stopper and I may have sprayed it as well by accident.

Thanks
