I was wondering if a deep cell marine battery would work ok? I only drive this every other weekend when I'm at my place at the lake?

If you've got one lying about looking for a job you might try it but even a 75 series battery needs 1/2 ply shim under it and a modified hold down... You'll have to have an adequate hold down for such a big battery or it will end up in the clutch one day.

Just an update! I but the 75 series 900 cold crank amps ( I know a little over kill) But this one was one I had setting on the shelf, Man does she turn over now and starts in about 1/4 of time it use to take. I got to be careful though I was standing next to it and stepped on the pedal and it spun over so fast that the battery stayed in place and the hole cart spun around. Good thing the dog was sitting on the seat to hold the cart to the ground. That dog Max is a mans best Friend!! Not to mention he thinks hes the only one that gets to ride the cart.

(he's 130 lb yellow lab so if says he's driving you just let him)
